With less hunting pressure and more predictable deer behavior, the late season can be a great time to fill any tags still burning a hole in your pocket. But with this time of year usually comes plummeting temperatures, brisk gusts, and substantial snowfall that can make sitting out in the elements unbearable. Here’s how you can stay comfortable and up your odds with a hard-sided hunting blind.

  • With durable, fully insulated constructions, hard-sided blinds can protect you from wind, snow, and frigid conditions so you can stick it out longer.
  • Not only does a hard-sided blind keep you warmer by shielding you from the elements, but it also allows for using a portable heater to keep you toasty as winter weather rages on. These compact units can bump up your blind by several degrees to keep you in the game longer.
  • When you climb into a treestand, you can only carry so much gear with you 20 feet up. But spacious hard-sided blinds offer plenty of room to stow extra layers, rain gear, hand warmers, and other gear to keep you comfortable throughout long sits.
  • When you aren’t shivering or forced to wear a bunch of bulky layers, coming to full draw on a late-season deer is much easier. Archery hunting in the late season can be much more effective from a hard-sided blind.
  • Hot coffee or soup from a thermos can warm you from the inside out! Hard-sided blinds make it easier to keep these hot liquids – and plenty of snacks – within arms reach, and they keep any scent from wafting through the woods.
  • When you’re cold to the bone, it can feel like your joints ache with every movement – and sitting on an ice-cold metal seat doesn’t help. Add a comfortable chair to your hard-sided blind setup, and you’ll be cozy all day long.
